Although, at the present time, most plant biotechnology research depends on the ability to recover healthy plants in vitro, there is no current bibliography that a plant tissue culturist or genetic engineer can use as an instant plant regeneration reference.
Since 1983, Agricell Report has been publishing up-to-date monthly lists of published papers dealing with plant micropropagation and in vitro regeneration. These lists have always contained, for each reference, journal names, volume numbers, page numbers, full postal addresses, and today they also include email addresses to facilitate contacting the authors for reprints or other information.
Because we have received many requests for information on plant regeneration from tissue cultures, we have gathered all regeneration and micropropagation citations from Agricell Report since the end of 2008 and have included them in a "Bibliography of Plant Micropropagation and Regeneration 2009-2012." This volume will make it possible for any researcher to instantly determine what plants have been regenerated or micropropagated during the last four to five years and to access the publications required to determine the necessary materials and methods used and to determine problems that were solved.
"Bibliography of Plant Micropropagation and Regeneration 2009-2012" contains over 1,500 references, arranged in the following categories:
FOREST, TIMBER, ORNAMENTAL AND PLANTATION ANGIOSPERMS
FRUIT AND CROP TREES
CACTI AND SUCCULENT PLANTS
